WoodWackers is a small Dorset workshop making custom furniture from locally sourced timber — one piece, one conversation, one customer at a time.
Wherever we can, we source wood from Dorset and the surrounding counties — keeping the miles, and the impact, short.
We take on fewer projects, not more, so every piece gets the time and attention good work actually needs.
Every project starts with a conversation, not a form. We'll sit down with you, sketch it out, and talk through the wood.
"Good furniture starts long before the first cut — with the right piece of wood, and the right conversation." WoodWackers, Dorset
We meet, in person where we can, to talk through what you need, how you'll use it, and what wood suits the room.
Sketches and a materials plan, refined with you until it's right — no surprises once the saw comes out.
Built by hand in our Dorset workshop, using traditional joinery and locally sourced timber wherever possible.
We deliver and fit the piece ourselves, then check in afterwards. It isn't finished until you're happy with it.
We're a small, Dorset-based team who'd rather make ten pieces we're proud of than a hundred we're not. Every commission is built by hand, from timber we know the origin of, in a workshop you're always welcome to visit.
Quality over quantity isn't a slogan here — it's the reason we keep our books small enough to give every customer a genuine, face-to-face relationship from the first sketch to the final delivery.
Tell us a little about what you have in mind. We'll get back to you to arrange a proper conversation — on the phone, or in person at the workshop.
